As a trusted member of the Gio Group at Morgan Stanley, Joseph is dedicated to helping clients build and preserve their wealth through strategic planning and thoughtful guidance. With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, Joseph brings a comprehensive understanding of financial structures, tax strategies, and wealth management—allowing him to provide insights that go beyond traditional investment advice.
Joseph began his career in the banking industry, where he specialized in mutual funds, hedge funds, and ETFs. He later transitioned into mergers and acquisitions consulting, advising both buy-side and sell-side clients on complex financial transactions. This experience equips him with a deep knowledge of business valuation, risk assessment, and financial forecasting, ensuring clients receive well-rounded advice tailored to their unique goals.
Joseph earned a B.S. in accounting from the College of Business Administration at Marquette University in Milwaukee and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA non-practicing at Morgan Stanley). He is an admitted member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Understanding that financial planning extends beyond numbers, Joseph takes a holistic approach—considering every aspect of his clients’ lives to craft personalized strategies that support their aspirations. Whether guiding business owners, executives, or families, he leverages his analytical experience and industry experience to help clients navigate investments, tax efficiencies, and long-term financial security.
Outside of his professional life, Joseph is married to his wife, Abi, and recently welcomed their first child. He enjoys cooking, tennis, golf, traveling, and collecting wine and bourbon—appreciating the balance between precision and passion in both his work and personal pursuits. Along with his wife, Joseph is an avid Marquette Basketball fan and strives to attend many games, even when they travel for March Madness. Joseph is also a proud and active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Downers Grove, where he serves on the finance committee.
