Meeting Description:

A review of the new Illinois Trust Code, including changes to prior Illinois law, wholly new provisions, and how your favorite parts of the Trusts & Trustees Act were re-codified.

Speaker Bio:

Jane G. Ditelberg is Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at in the Legal Department of Northern Trust. She provides advice to Northern in its capacity as trustee, guardian, conservator and executor. She is a fellow of ACTEC where she is Vice Chair of the Amicus Committee and a member of the Diversity and Inclusivity, State Laws, and Employee Benefits in Estate Planning Committees. She served on the Chicago Bar Association’s Task Force on the Illinois Trust Code. She is a frequent speaker and writer on a broad range of estate planning and tax topics for groups such as ACTEC, IICLE, ALI, and the Heckerling Estate Planning Conference.
