Entity Disclosure and You: The Purpose, Scope and Effect of the Corporate Transparency Act

Christopher M. Floss - ArentFox Schiff

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued final regulations in September 2022 regarding the implementation of the “Corporate Transparency Act.” Effective January 1, 2024, disclosure to FinCEN of beneficial ownership information for certain types of entities will be mandatory. This presentation will address the purpose, scope and effect of the new disclosure requirement.
